Caissa Public Strategy, Wilson Public Relations Merge, Create Largest Comprehensive PR Firm in Memphis
Caissa expands into full-service communications powerhouse containing Caissa K-12, Caissa Public Strategy, and Wilson Public Relations
MEMPHIS, Tennessee, May 16, 2023 – Caissa Public Strategy and Wilson Public Relations, two prominent Memphis-based communications firms, today announced their merger, forming the largest and most comprehensive public relations agency in the city. The partnership brings together the expertise, experience, and resources of both organizations to offer unparalleled services to clients in the region and beyond.
The newly formed public relations division will be led by Beth Wilson, who will assume the role of president of Wilson PR. She joins Caissa as a partner and board member, alongside Caissa K-12 president Adrian Bond, Caissa Public Strategy president and co-founder Paige Walkup, and Caissa CEO and co-founder Brian Stephens. Bond leads the growing education division with clients in nearly 20 states, the nation’s number one leader in student recruitment and retention. Walkup spearheads Caissa Public Strategy, overseeing issue campaigns and community engagement projects in a variety of sectors, including health care, economic development, and government.
“This merger allows us to expand the scope of services we offer and maximize client impact, putting Memphis on the map alongside companies in larger metropolitan areas – while maintaining an intimate and familiar relationship with the challenges and opportunities of the local community,” said Stephens. “By combining the strengths of our teams, we are positioned to provide a wide range of public relations and strategic communication solutions to clients across various industries.”
The merger fuels the firm’s integrated approach to communication and increased capacity for client relationships. Caissa Public Strategy is renowned for its strategic counsel, public affairs, public school services, and crisis management capabilities, providing clients with comprehensive solutions to navigate complex landscapes. Wilson PR, known for its expertise in media relations and strategic communications, has a reputation for delivering successful public relations strategies for its clients. The new PR division will provide comprehensive communication solutions and an expanded suite of services, allowing clients the opportunity to work closely with the enterprise at all levels.
"For myriad reasons, including our shared culture of client-centered service and complementary skill sets, the expanded team will bring a depth of experience that provides increased value to our clients backed by deep industry expertise and insights," said Wilson.
Under one roof, Caissa K-12, Caissa Public Strategy, and Wilson Public Relations will occupy the entire 17th floor of Memphis’ Clark Tower. Upon the completion of renovations currently underway, the firm will host an open house and networking event later this year.
